We are a local Subnode Vigo from Faircoop Galicia, we are going to participate in the II Mostra do Posible (Possible alternatives for a better world), which is a meeting of different entities of social and solidarity economy and social movements in Galicia.
As a Local Subnode, we have the opportunity to teach the Faircoop ecosistem and tools to the different social organizations.
We ask for donations in faircoin currency to pay part of the meeting, and euros to be able to ensure faircoin & euro exchange.
Faircoin will be the currency of the II Mostra do Posible meeting . It will be in Cangas do Morrazo (Galicia), on October 6th and 7th, 2018. At the 2017 meeting, 52 entities participated. We can put your stored faircoins in circulation!
A faircoin workshop will be held to explain the grassroots movement and answer questions. It will be on Saturday, October 6 at 12:30.
How much to donate? Actually, what you can 5, 10, 100, 300 … the idea is to get euros and accumulated faircoins to use in a dissemination activity. If you have stored faircoins or participated in Faircoin’s Stability Fund campaign you can donate part of the overvalue acquired to support this event.
We describe the use of your donation by priorities:
1. First objective: 550 ƒ ; Music, photo and video.
– 50 ƒ. Faircoop merchandising. If the objective is reached, We will print the flyers in
Copitec Dixital (R
egistered in UseFaircoin).
– 200 ƒ. Cantautora:
Sofía Espiñeira. If the objective is reached, will perform on Sunday 7th at 15: 00h (R
egistered in UseFaircoin).
– 100 ƒ. Pasacalles: Ameaza de Bombo. If the objective is reached, will perform on Saturday 6th at 15:00h. They have not yet joined to faircoop community.
– 200 ƒ. Photo and video team: If the objective is reached, they will register the talks, presentations, workshops … of the II Mostra do Posible.
2. Second objective: 500 ƒ ; To donate 10ƒ per each social organizations as a concept of diet.
3. Third objective: 1260 €, to ensure the change of faircoin to euros, in the event.

What is Mostra do Posible (Possible alternatives for a better world)?
A Mostra do Posible de Cangas do Morrazo (Galicia) is a meeting of social and solidarity economy entities and social movements through which it is intended to make visible that there are alternatives to build a fairer world.
On the one hand, solidarity economy companies are making powerful tools for collective transformation, which seek to cooperate instead of competing and put people out of the center. The solidarity economy makes it possible that today we can satisfy part of our daily needs, contributing to the creation of a more just and solidary world.
On the other hand, social movements seek to influence the decision making about what is of all, arguing that other types of public policies are possible. In addition, in social movements lies creativity and the experience of other forms of collective organization.
The first edition of Mostra do posible was held in Cangas do Morrazo on October 7th and 8th, 2017. 52 social organizations from Galicia participated and 21 activities were held during that weekend: lectures, round tables, presentations, workshops, fair, concerts .
This year 2018 on October 6th and 7th, 2018 is the second edition of Mostra do posible.
